Terms and Conditions

You agree to the terms and conditions contained within the mumsanddads website. By completing the application form to go onto the mumsanddads directory you confirm that all the information that you have provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge. 

You agree to pay Mums and Dads the agreed monthly sum for a minimum period of 12 months from the date of placement on the directory; or an appropriate annual amount as agreed. If payment is defaulted you understand that you will be liable for any outstanding amount for that period.

You agree that you adhere to all current legislation relevant to your organisation or business. Family Resource Limited has the right to remove anyone, organisation or business from www.mumsanddads.co.uk should there be any breach or alleged breach in your compliance to relevant UK law or the rules detailed below.

Family Resource Limited does not guarantee the quality of any childcare services advertised on www.mumsanddads.co.uk and is in no way responsible for any alleged misconduct, injury or loss of business. 

In order to participate, contribute to or advertise on mumsanddads.co.uk you will be required to register with mumsanddads.co.uk. Any personal information supplied to mumsanddads.co.uk as part of this registration process and/or any other interaction with mumsanddads.co.uk will be collected, stored and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

You agree to use the mumsanddads forum, classified ads or Directory sections in accordance with the following rules.Contributions must be civil and tasteful.

No disruptive, offensive or abusive behaviour: contributions must be constructive and polite, not mean-spirited or contributed with the intention of causing trouble.

No unlawful or objectionable content: unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, racially offensive or otherwise objectionable material is not acceptable.

Be patient: We are not all "computer whizzes" and people of various competency will be using the mumsanddads website.

No spamming or off-topic material: we don't allow the submission of the same or very similar contributions many times. Please don't re-submit your contribution to more than one discussion, or contribute off-topic material in subject-specific areas.

No advertising or promoting of companies or business on the mumsanddads website . Any adverts on Classified Ads or Posts on the Forum deemed to be as such will be removed, unless they are there with the express written permission of Family Resource Limited.

Contributions containing languages other than English will be removed.

No impersonation.

No inappropriate (e.g. vulgar, offensive etc) user names.

URLs (web site addresses) are not allowed to be posted or included without the express permission of Family Resource Limited. To apply, please refer to the Contact Us Page.

Deliberate misuse of the mumsanddads site is not permitted. We will advise you of any misuse and if you persist we reserve the right to take action against your account.

Appropriate Adverts. The adverts placed within the Classified Ads Section must be related to children and there is an upper limit of £500 per item. Any ads not deemed to be children related may be removed.

Directory Entries. You agree that any information contained within the mumsanddads.co.uk directory is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you comply with all relevant UK law in repsect of your business.

Your Account

If you use multiple logins for the purpose of disrupting the Forum, the Classified Ads or Directory sections of mumsanddads.co.uk or annoying other users you may have action taken against all of your accounts.

All accounts must be registered with a valid personal email address (or business email address in respect of the directory) that you access regularly so that moderation emails can be sent to you. Accounts registered with someone else's email address, or with temporary email addresses may be closed without notice. We may require users to re-validate their account if we believe they have been using an invalid email address.

Family Resource Limited reserves the right to close accounts or remove entries if any user is seen to be using proxy IPs (Internet Protocol addresses) in order to attempt to hide the use of multiple mumsanddads accounts, or if a non UK user pretends to be a UK user, or disrupts any of our services in any way.

Legal requirements

You may not submit or share any defamatory or illegal material of any nature in the mumsanddads Forum or Classified Ad. This includes text, graphics, video, programs or audio.

Contributing material to mumsanddads.co.uk with the intention of committing or promoting an illegal act is strictly prohibited.

You agree to submit to or share with the Mums and Dads Forum only contributions which are your own original work. You must not violate, plagiarise, or infringe the rights of the mumsanddads or third parties including copyright, trade mark, trade secrets, privacy, publicity, personal or proprietary rights.

You must be 18 to use this site.

If you breach these Rules:

If you fail to abide by these Rules (and/or any variations published from time to time) when taking part in the mumsandads.co.uk forum or placing an advert within the Classified Ads section or placing an entry within the directory section, you will be sent an email which informs you why your contribution has been refused or edited. This email will also include a warning that continuing to break the rules may result in action being taken against your account or accounts.

This action may include any content posted by you being checked before allowed to go on the site or a temporary or permanent suspension of your ability to participate in any or all of mumsanddads website.

If you submit or share offensive or inappropriate content on the mumsanddads.co.uk website and Family Resource Limited considers such behaviour to be serious and/or repeated, Family Resource Limited may use whatever information that is available to it about you to stop any further such infringements. This may include informing relevant third parties such as your employer, email provider or relevant officials.

Family Resource Limitedreserves the right to delete any contribution, or take action against any Mums and Dads account, at any time, for any reason.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The majority of content posted on mumsanddads.co.uk is created by members of the public. The views expressed are theirs and unless specifically stated are not those of mumsanddads.co.uk or Family Resource Limited. Family Resource Limited are not responsible for any content posted by members of the public on mumsanddads.co.uk or for the availability or content of any third party sites or businesses that are accessible through mumsanddads.co.uk. Any links to third party websites or businesses from mumsanddads.co.uk are not a guarantee of the services offered by the website or business and any use of that site or the services by you are at your own risk.

mumsanddads.co.uk content, including the information, names, images, pictures, logos and icons regarding or relating to Family Resource Limited, or any other trading names or styles of Family Resource Limited, its products and services (or to third party products and services), is provided "AS IS" and on an "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the extent permitted by law, Family Resource Limited excludes all representations and warranties (whether express or implied by law), including the implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, compatibility, security and accuracy. Family Resource Limited does not guarantee the timeliness, completeness or performance of the website or any of the content. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes Family Resource Limited's liability for death or personal injury caused by its proven negligence. General

If any of these terms are determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by reason of the laws of any state or country in which these terms are intended to be effective, then to the extent and within the jurisdiction in which that term is illegal, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and the remaining terms shall survive and continue to be binding and enforceable.

The failure or delay of Family Resource Limited to exercise or enforce any right in these terms does not waive Family Resource Limited right to enforce that right.

These terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales which shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
