Parentline Plus is the largest independent provider of parenting support in the country. A national charity, we deliver quality assured, responsive parent to parent services aimed at enabling parents to meet their own and their children’s needs in order to secure good outcomes for children. We encourage people to see seeking help as a sign of strength and responsibility. We believe it is normal for parents to have difficulties from time to time. All our work starts from the belief that parents and carers want to do the best for their children, and they tell us about the often overwhelming problems and feelings of helplessness and isolation as they struggle to achieve this. Our work gives us unrivalled and unique access to the concerns and problems faced by parents and children. We work to recognise and value the different types of families that exist, and to shape and expand the services available to them. We specialise in parent to parent work, and encourage parents who use our services to volunteer and work with us.
